Wow-Pen, a Rather Unique Mouse
ˇ°Here he comes to save the dayˇ±, was the theme song of the TV cartoon ˇ°Mighty Mouseˇ±. As a new notebook user I have found the real Mighty Mouse in the Waawoo Technology, WOW-Pen. I can only assume that this odd name stems from the first reaction of the new user of this unique mouse.

The Pen that WOWS!
I love my Logitech G5 Gaming Mouse. I love it because it is a gamer's mouse, has adjustable weights, and an impressive 2000dpi resolution. But after using various horizontal mouse for almost 15 years now, I'm beginning to suffer from the onset of Carpel Tunnel Syndrome (I think it is safe to put the blame squarely on "Counter Strike").
While I was covering CeBIT 2006 (a major disappointment, by the way), I came across this innovative product from Korea, the WOWPEN. The WOWPEN has a very clever design.

WowPen is an optical mouse in the shape (mostly) of a pen, and is held like a writing implement. It has a wide flat base with a small wing that supports the middle and ring finger of your right hand. The right and left mouse buttons are controlled by the index finger of your right hand and the scroll wheel is rolled by the middle finger.

...If you are going to use the Q1 on a stable surface, it's far better to use a mouse instead. I plugged my WOW Pen Mouse into the USB port; this yielded precise navigation and selection.
